Feast of Love
Veteran group DiAMOND pops out here and there to bring you some really nice releases, such as this one. This is a romantic Drama film starring the eternal Morgan Freeman alongside Greg Kinnear. These are both fine actors and that’s usually enough to separate the good stuff from the rubbish (even though Mr. Freeman has had his embarassing moments… *cough*TheContract*cough*). Anyway, quality is what you’d expect from a DVDRip done by one of the scene’s finest. Enjoy.
Synopsis: Love is the star of this film from director Robert Benton (KRAMER VS. KRAMER, THE HUMAN STAIN). Bradley (Greg Kinnear) believes in the power and beauty of true love. He’s good at falling in love–just with the wrong women. He’s hoping that his relationship with sophisticated Diana (Radha Mitchell) will have a happier ending than his first marriage to Kathryn (Selma Blair). Bradley’s friend Harry (Morgan Freeman) is happily married to Esther (Jane Alexander), but they are dealing with the loss of a different kind of love. At the same time, Oscar (Toby Hemingway) and Chloe (Alexa Davalos) are busy falling in love at first sight and starting their life together, even though the odds are against them. In this film, no relationship stone is left unturned, and no relationship is judged.

Elizabeth The Golden Age
Last few days were pretty good in terms of new movie releases and guys from DiAMOND make it even better: they released a dvdrip of a biographical drama Elizabeth: The Golden Age just a few minutes ago. The movie holds a solid rating at IMDB and critics seem to like it as well so if you’re into medieval times and haven’t seen it yet, give it a go. I would be happier to see this as a 2CD release but DiAMOND knows their work good enough to preserve a solid quality. English/French/Spanish subtitles included.

Gone Baby Gone
DiAMOND released “Gone Baby Gone” in DVDRip quality not long ago. This movie was previously available on a very nice DVDSCR by group DoNE, so I bet many have already seen it. I have to admit that I had high expectations from this film but was mostly let down by the storyline in spite of a stellar cast including 2008 Oscar nominee Casey Affleck (for his role in “The Assassination of Jesse James“), 2008 Oscar nominee Amy Ryan (Best Supporting Actress for this role), Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris. But that’s just me. Rotten Tomatoes really loved it and the IMDB score is also high above average. Have fun.
